Family Weekend

MY GOD, I'M TIRED.

Man, I spent half of Friday and my whole freaking weekend with my relatives! After school on Friday, I had to go to this pre-wedding party where I met people I never knew existed. Apparently they're now my cousins. Well, they're really nice, and I like them a lot, so it's all good, I guess. The pre-wedding party had all this Asian food (fried rice, BOOYAH) and it wasn't bad at all. (Of course it was raining outside.) But they had TWO 2-liter bottles of soda. I bet they want to fill us up first with the soda before giving us the food. That's actually sorta smart.

Then on Saturday came the real wedding, and I spent at least two hours just standing, snatching little snacks from waiters with my younger cousins, and conversing with my new relatives. At first it was awkward, but then it actually got sorta fun. The snacks were good too; too bad there weren't a lot of them. Then we went in for dinner, but of course we had to wait another hour before the food actually came. There were speeches, toasts, blah blah blah, one guy mixed my apple cider with champagne but I didn't get drunk, yay. (It tasted bad though, haha.) And then food! I ate lamb, my new cousin ate lamb, my dad and brother ate beef, and my mom ate-guess what?-lamb. It wasn't that bad, but my favorite was the rice that came with it. It was like, a mix of Asian and Indian food, I think. IT WAS AWESOME!!! Then people started dancing, and we got free ice cream (I ate two cones), and then my family left.

SUNDAY was a family reunion party. It was sorta special because my new cousins came for the first time! It was at the same old house with the same old cousins, though, and I had a great time running around and playing random games. In the end I had to leave early because of ANOTHER family dinner (immediate members only), which sucked a lot. I was down for a little bit, but then I got some chocolate and I cheered up.

And that brings us to now. I'm so tired, but at the same time I'm so happy that the big stuff is over. At the same time, again, I'm sad. I have to finish a social studies project and memorize a drama script by January whenever-school-starts. Still, I've got a whole two weeks ahead of me!

Merry X-mas and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I know it's sort of late to say this now, though. Hahaha. It's Thanksgiving Break (finally!) and to celebrate, I went out with friends to badminton, I grabbed some sushi for dinner, I ate turkey at my grandmom's house, and I tried pumpkin pie for the first time in my LIFE (it's not bad). And tomorrow there's a traditional family party I'll be going to where I get to see my cousins for the first time in almost a year!!! I'm so excited.

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!!

Three Day Weekend/HALLOWEEN2010

It's another three day weekend. Monday is Furlough Day, but I don't really care about the HOLIDAY except for Christmas and stuff. So...I'm planning to go to badminton courts with my good friends on Monday. And...for Halloween, which is today? I'm gonna stay home, and at night I'll turn out the lights, not answer the door, and pretend that I'm not home. ^_^ I never trick-or-treated before in my life, and I never answered the door for trick-or-treaters either. I dunno why, I never have candy to give them, so...

P.S.: By the way, at 12 Am today, I was still awake and in the bathroom. I immediately realized it was 12 AM and I S-E-R-I-O-U-S-L-Y freaked out. I was like "OH GAWD WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO ME!?!?!?" so I pelted out of the bathroom (I was just washing my hands) and stayed there until like five minutes later. LOL. Nothing happened, by the way.

Happy Halloween!

Wonderful Day

Today was a very good day. Good school day, no homework (well, there was some, but it's due next week [thur] and I only need like three days to finish it, so yeah), and my family went out to dinner. It's a very special day for me today! I won't say why though ;) But it was extremely fun. All my friends and family were around me (along with presents! LOL) and now I'm typing this with a little smile on my face.~

Just Realized...

I spell "grey" instead of gray. I spell "theater" instead of "theatre", unless I want to sound fancy. I spell "omelette" instead of "omelet". It's just in my blood, and God it's annoying when a teacher says to write a word down-say, "Omelette". And some kid raises their hand and says "It's 'Omelet' though right Teacher?" But then again, it is interesting.

Just a fascinating little note I thought I'd make.

Oh yeah. CELEBRATING THE COMING OF OCTOBER! This is my favorite month <333

End of First Period!

The first six weeks of school is finally over!! My grades look OK, so I'm not that big on it...I was absent for two days last week (thur and fri) and I missed three tests. Can you believe that? That's just bull right there. Anyway, three lunchtimes were stolen from me before I could realize how much I missed ;( So today was my first day free during lunch! To celebrate, I bought chocolate milk, which is a real treat. xD

How is school for you?

Wow It was a Long Time

Wow it's been a while...haha. Um, school started like three weeks ago and it's pretty god darn awesome! I have nice teachers for every subject. And we have a new drama class project we're gonna start on tomorrow, which sounds totally cool. Unfortunately there's a social studies test tomorrow, but i studied enough so it should be A-OK.

I'm sorry I'm not going on this blog that much. I will make a few short notes from time to time and keep in touch with some friends. :]

Gotta go now. See you guys later!

Happy July 4th!!!

WOOOHOOO!!! Go America!!! (Yes, I'm an American :D) Even though it's like, 10:30 PM...oh well...at least it isn't 12. Well, this won't be a long post-I just want to say HAPPY 200-AND-SOMETHING BIRTHDAY AMERICA!! I love you! You are an awesome place to live in (lol that sorta sounds weird but it's true). I unfortunately didn't go to the fireworks today, but at least I could HEAR them...[ugh]. The day was pretty good too-sunny, but not too sunny-if I recall correctly...Blegh. Have a great July 4th-or what's rest of it, which is about an hour and a half...lol...

HAPPY JULY 4th!!!

Summer Days

I am REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY happy that summer's here now. My schedule is perfect for me. I just laze about, sleep late, and go on the computer. Maybe watch a movie here and there. A few parties. And every Monday and Thursday, I go to a badminton class along with three of my friends. They are all about one to three years younger than me, but who cares?

I recently learned how to play mahjong (no, I don't gamble. I just play). It's sort of fun, but I'm still a novice and haven't even won once against my badminton friends. This sucks. It's all about luck, and I sure don't have any of THAT.

There's not much else to talk about. I'm still keeping in touch with all my friends from school through email, IM's, etc. I am playing more games than usual to pass the time. Maybe it's about time I should start using my xBox, after like, what, four months? (That's a long time in my book.)

I'm getting better at drawing digitally. So to celebrate, I will...do nothing.

I'm drinking fruit punch in those little packs with a straw. The straw's making weird noises. This isn't good.

Father's Day

Uh oh, Father's Day is tomorrow, and I still didn't make my dad a present. Yes, I make all my presents. Not because they're "excellent" or whatever (they actually look third-grader-ish), but because I'm trying to be more creative. Like, for Mother's Day I used one of those bigger Ziploc bags, got some plastic boxes, cut off pieces and arranged them and glued them on so that they looked like a rose on the plastic bag, got two different colored cardboard paper, drew a stem so that it worked with the rose on both of the papers, wrote some nice notes on the back, and put them in the plastic bag. So you have a rose and you can change different backgrounds. LOL.

This time, though, I'm stuck. Since Father's Day is all about manliness-technology, cars, and the like. I had this idea where I make a bad paper vase and make different flowers, each in a different stage of a flower's growth, and secretly replace each flower so that it looks like it's growing. But noo, it had to be for FATHER'S day. No flowers allowed. So I'm stuck.

Hey! I know! Maybe I'll make this computer out of a Kleenex box and I'll make a little slot where you can change the background, icons, and each background has a different date+time and different programs. Since my dad is a computer programmer....

...oh, what am I saying. I'm screwed.

HAPPY JUNE!?!

LAST MONTH BEFORE SCHOOL ENDS! YEEEEESS!

Well, a lot of good stuff happened today. And some interesting stuff too. I am no longer worried about my social studies grade because I got my final project back today. Yesterday I didn't know my grade because I didn't get my project yet, which, by the way, is 25% of my grade. Here's how the grading system went:

25%-project 1=A-
25%-project 2=A (yes, there were two projects. Poor, poor me.
25%-classwork =A
25%-participation=well, I don't know, but I'm guessing it's around an A- to an A.

I tried asking my teacher what grade I got, and he just said "Oh, go away! You know what your grade is!" But really, I don't. Shucks. I'll try again tomorrow.

So so far I'm pretty happy with my grades.

P.E.-A
Science-A
Social Studies-Most likely an A, otherwise my teacher wouldn't be so "GOAWAY!"
Math-Dunno, but I got an A on both huge projects, so...
Drama-A
Language Arts-Well, teacher dropped out or something, so I'm not even sure of my grade here. At ALL.

What else happened...? Oh. My friends introduced me to this new, EVIL card game called "Maou". "Maou" in Japanese is "Devil", if I'm correct. So it's the devil's game, and by golly it really is. You guys know how to play "Uno", right? (If you don't, I command you to look it up on Google. It is a really great game.) So we played that except with regular cards and instead of having one card left in our hand, we have to try to get rid of ALL our cards in our hand. And our dealer is the Maou, who doesn't play, by the way. Meanwhile, there are special rules, and if you break those rules, the Maou gives you a card. Here's the mean part:

You. Don't. Know. Those. Rules.

That's right. Players play without knowing those rules, and as a result, they keep getting cards over and over again. Here's an example of what happened today:

Player A plays an eight of hearts.

Player B plays an eight of spades.

Player B gets a card because he didn't say "eight of spades" (Maou tells what the player did wrong every time he/she gives a card, which is great.)

Player C plays a seven of spades, and says, "Seven of spades."

Player C gets a card because he didn't say "Have a nice day".

Player D plays a nine of spades, and says, "Nine of spades." Then Player D laughs and comments.

Player D gets a card for talking.

Maou calls the game. Player A, B, and C get cards for touching their hand and not putting it down when Maou called the game. Player D got ten cards because she didn't know what the **** was going on.

See what I mean? That's an evil game, right there. When I first played it, I was extremely confused. But now I know the rules, which I'm not telling-at least, not all of them. So now I'm teaching all my friends this game. :D

By the way, after school today I walked over to a playground and just sat there swinging. A bunch of little kids were there, probably on a field trip (those lucky kids). So I just sit there swinging along with two other kids and an adult supervisor. Here's the conversation:

Kid A: Mr. Alaaan!

Supervisor: Yes?

Kid A: Can you swing me?

Supervisor: Sure. -swings Kid A-

Kid A: Okay. You can go away now. (I LOL'ed here.)

Supervisor: What? Well, fine. -goes over to push Kid B-

Kid A: Can you push me Mr. Alan?

Supervisor: But you told me to go away!

Kid A: ....please?

And it went on like that. They were so cute, and so lively...I can't believe I was like that years before. It made me feel weird.

Eventually I got off the swing when a boy walked right in front of me. I dug my shoes in and stopped right before he got hit. Wow. He didn't even flinch. Poor guy; he could get hurt like that someday. I figured I might as well leave now, so I went off.

Life is pretty good right now. One class I have free time in, one class I do a project that involves coloring and no brains, which is my kind of project. Two classes I do work in like normal. One class I play cards (P.E.). One class I watch a movie in.

Overall, it's a laid back life. And I love it. :]

OMIGOSH

Long time, long time. And it's pretty late too. Lots of stuff happened. So far I got 4.0's, but this time I'm really scared about my grade in social studies. :(

Uhh...I guess school is pretty much over. I mean, I heard the grades are due this week, and the last day is this Friday, so I only have four more days. There's not much people can do in school for four days, other than party and just sit there. I should start bringing a book or something in case there's nothing else to do...

Hmm...there was this huge field trip for everyone in the school; each person was assigned to a special field trip randomly. I went to the aquarium in Pier 39, and for some only-God-knows reason, ALL of my best friends were with me. All four of them. That's just insane, and is barely possible. But it happened. Isn't that amazing?

Spring's here! My mom has a greenhouse in the backyard and she's growing all sorts of stuff. Just today for dinner I had green beans and potatoes from her backyard. And there's the occasional strawberry. She's also growing peppers and carrots, but they're not ready yet. And mint leaves! Can you believe that? I tried a mint leaf, but it didn't taste like mint. Didn't taste very good at all.

This is the first time I've had a weekend with no work for months. And it's extended, too! I love my life.

What else is there...? Oh yeah. Summer plans: some badminton classes, though I can play OK, and hopefully some skateboarding. I don't know how to skateboard but it seems fun. I like the sports where you ride something, like roller coasters or skating, because it's like I'm flying when I do them. Therefore: it's awesome.

Sine it's late and I should be turning off by now, I'll end this here. Farewell, friends who are still reading this for no reason!

SPRING BREAK!!!!! WOOOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!

FINALLY! OMG! Finally, a serious break. I mean, weekends are great, but sometimes I just need a bit more time to relax. Not too much homework, either! And no vacations, which means I can stay home and breathe deeply as much as I want! I got some chocolate from my parents, which is awesome 'cause I love chocolate.

Out of about five or six, I had two classes that were spent partying on Friday. That's...okay, I guess. Winter break had all the classes partying! It's not really a party, though. More like a don't-do-work-just-EAT. Which is also good, y'know?

Drew another picture in honor of spring. Unfortunately, the picture itself isn't even remotely related to spring.

I am honestly speechless right now. I don't know what else to say, I guess. Ummm...parent teacher conference week ended, and I didn't have any conferences, so it's like a normal week, I guess. No tests or anything, so that gives me a bit of freedom. I need new books to read. Any good ones anyone can recommend? I enjoy some fantasy, adventure, and romance is OK, though not required.

Dunno what to say, so I'll end the post here. YAY!

The title had something better to do so it left this message here.

If I were a gemstone, I'd be an emerald.

If I were a scent, I would be anything that smells good.

If I were a pair of shoes, I'd be a pair of sneakers. Black/white.

If I were the weather, I'd be a rainbow! O:

If I were a facial expression, I'd be laughing.

If I were a car, I'd be a Lexus, probably.

If I were a time of day, I'd be noon.

If were a month, I'd be October.

If I were a place, I'd be my room.

If I were a liquid, I'd be apple juice.

If I were a taste, I'd be sweetly sour. :]

If I were a sea animal, I’d be a seahorse.

If I were a food, I’d be spaghetti.

If I were a color, I'd be blue.

If I were a musical instrument, I would be a clarinet.

If I were a flower, I’d be a sunflower.

If I were a song, I’d be hip hop or something like that.

If I were a planet, I’d be Saturn.

If I were an object, I would be a pair of headphones. :3

If I were a fruit, I'd be a mango.

If I were a sound, I’d be a "BOOOOOOMMMM!!!!"

If I were a day of the week, I’d be Friday.

I saw this on the Viva la Fashion blog and there was this tag on this one post. So I did it. :] I tag whoever read this, and feels like doing this! Time to talk about my day!!

Well, nothing happened. Another weekend's coming up (thank goodness) and I love it when weekends come up!! It seems like there's so much time to relax even though there's only two days. I get to sleep late, do whatever I want to do, and go to sleep again knowing there's one more day of freedom.

Spring break's coming up! Can't wait! Wonder what I should do, though? It's a whole week, after all. Hmm...

Gosh, it's sooooo hot outside now. I'm starting to use cold water for my showers, and it feels pretty nice compared to the extra heat. And I don't want to open my window to my room right now 'cause when I do, for SOME reason there's a lot of flies around. -_- *sigh* I liked it better when it was raining.

Fitness testing for P.E. is nearly over! Finally did the mile, got 9:09. Compared to other classmates' scores (10 minutes and something seconds), I was pretty happy. That is, until I saw that almost all of my friends got 8 minutes and something seconds. My spirit drained out. :( Actually, for me, testing is already over now. But some of the people in the class didn't do the mile yet (we take two days to get through the whole class), so we'll be doing that on Monday. People who already ran the mile help time the people running, so that's what I'm gonna be doing. Which is fun. At least, better than running.

My report card's GOTTA come sooner or later!! I mean, GOD! The suspense is killing me! My brother already got his, but what about me?? I wish report cards weren't so official....sigh...oh yeah, I just took a look at my calendar. Apparently today was the end of the report card period. I never knew that. I just hope my grades are okay. *sweatdrop*

Just turned in a huge assignment for science, and there's a project due in social studies. Not looking good on either of those. Since when was school life so hard??

I'm pretty much done here. Byyeee!

HAPPY MARCH!!

It's sort of late, but I've just gotta post something. I mean, it's the first day of March! Spring's getting closer every day...and then all the rain will evaporate...and then summer! YAY! Oh, wait, maybe I'll be forced to take another unwanted vacation...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

*ahem* Enough of the complaining-I'm thinking too far ahead. There's already so much stuff happening right now. There's this huge writing school-wide test tomorrow and it'll take homeroom, first period, and second period to finish it. I've been studying the different possible essays we might have to write, but since I have a certain bad language arts teacher, I have a bad feeling about this.

I just recently took another huge (not school-wide) test for social studies that counts 50% of my grade, if I'm correct. My teacher says he'll definitely have it by tomorrow. Is that good or bad? I'm not sure, because I'm not very confident in this test.

My science teacher also owes me another test, but hasn't said anything about it. AGGHHH!

I got an A on a P.E. test. (Yes, I know. Who ever knew P.E. had tests? And yes, it's a written test. May the Lord bless us.) It's pretty good, considering some lower scores in the class. I'm talking C's, and possible D's. Not a pretty sight. Also won a sports award (YAHOO!) for the second time in my life. Life can be so fair sometimes.

In drama, we're going to perform scenes from "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in front of the class. I guess I said that before? Ah, too lazy to check now. You guys check it for me. :) Anyway, I'll be performing from Thur to Fri this week. Again, I'm not sure if that's good or bad. Probably bad.

STILLCANTFORGETTESTSMUSTLOOKATSCORESSOON

I'm pretty comfortable right now. My older brother and my dad just had an argument. My brother's a computer-addict (like me) and gets bad grades because of it (unlike me), and I'm not entirely sure of the situation, but from what I heard from their screams, I guess my brother somehow broke his computer out of anger and my dad asked him what happened and my brother said something dumb that made my dad angry and somehow they started fighting. But it seems like they're calming down now. That's good. My mom's busy on the phone laughing and has been since the last thirty minutes. I'm serious. I can hear her now. "So is it going to open? Oh, _:__ PM to _:__ PM?" Ah. I just realized she's probably talking about badminton. Okay, then, that's normal. Meanwhile, I just taped up a few broken papers in my schoolwork and otherwise I'm pretty happy. It's nice to have a blog to rant to.

I got invited to this 4.0 tea thing. Well, my parents did. I'll be forced to go whether I like it or not. They call it a tea, though? I call it cake-time. They give you a small slice of cake and you enter this room that has at least a million 4.0 geniuses in it and you try to find your friends and some peace so that you can eat your cake. It's on March 11th, I think. Okay, I can deal with that.

I guess I'm done writing now. My hands are starting to feel sore...oh! Try this website that tests how fast you type per minute: http://www.typeonline.co.uk/typingspeed.php. I did it and I got 103 words per minute!!

A Totally Useless Title

Just thought I should post here once in a while...haha...because I'm really, really bored right now. I got my report card somewhere last week-it was for the end of the semester. (4.00 GPA-someone should give me an applause.) Apparently all the students in my school who got this particular golden GPA is going to get their picture taken during a certain period, based on their grades. I think it's on the 23rd of February? Dunno, and duncare, cause I still feel important. (Just kidding.) Speaking of report cards, the 6-week report cycle ends on the 26th of February. Very close. I'll have to start watching my grades. -.-

The huge social studies project is over, and I got an A. *hums in happiness* Seriously, considering all the worse grades around me, I was sure I was going to get something like a B. So I'm very, VERY proud.

In P.E., lately we've been spending the days indoors. We're learning about health itself now, and we're going to take one of those open book tests on it on the 23rd. In science, another test'll be coming up somewhere on Wednesday the 24th (crud). In social studies, I turned in my notebook last Thursday (18th), and I hope I'll get it back soon. The notebook's like, what, 50% of your grade? In math, nothing special's happening. In drama class, we're starting to do plays about scenes from Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". We just finished reading it, and it was pretty good-but now we have to do our plays in SHAKESPEARE LANGUAGE! You know, the "none thy hand haveth o'er life" stuff. (I don't even know if that statement is right, in old English terms.) We'll be getting our scripts tomorrow. I can SO wait. In language arts, there's this annoying project due on Wednesday, and a whole bunch of assignments due tomorrow. That sucks.

I've been taking up shuffling cards. Since I'm so stupid, I don't even know how to do the shuffling style where you split the cards into two piles and splat them against each other. You know? The "phhhfffttppp" one. So I'm learning how from my brother, who apparently knows how to do that style and, like, twenty more. I'm serious. I can't believe those styles even exist. He knows how to split the cards into 10 piles, twirl the piles around at once and somehow gather them into his palm, all nice and shuffled. Don't ask me how-I don't even understand the concept. And the two pile shuffling style is hard enough. (Hey, that rhymes!)

Well, it's been sunny the past week, but I think that this morning it rained a bit. Is the sunny time over already? Geez...I miss it. I like eating outdoors instead of being trapped in a classroom when it rains.

I guess that's all to talk about now. I don't know what else to say, but I'm really happy that I made this blog. Now whenever I'm bored, I know where to turn to. :)

Valentine's Day+New Year

I know this post is really late, but I've just gotta post something. I mean, it's Valentine's Day (V-day) and New Year's Day (NY. Wait, no, that sounds like New York. NYR?). It doesn't come every day.

Yesterday I went to my grandmother's house to eat the annual "OHMIGODIT'SCHINESENEWYEARSOLET'SHAVEAFAMILYFEASTTHATMIGHTASWELLBEABUFFET!!!!" It was sooo yummy. My family's Chinese so we celebrate NYR with my favorite Chinese foods. No pizza or chips or anything, but it'd be cool if there were. And I got my NYR envelopes from my grandma and my aunts (no uncles, really amazing). And today I just received two envelopes from my parents. WOOHOO!!

On the 12th I got a bunch of chocolate and stuff from my friends. I gave out like thirty V-day cards (even though they were store-bought, I still had to write the names and stuff. I even wrote a few comments to make the boring cards interesting for once. I'm nice like that). And my school has this system-you can buy these V-day grams/cards for 25cents each and the school delivers it to the addressed person on the 12th during 7th period. The school also attaches candy to the cards as a little bonus. I actually got two cards from two of my closest friends, and I am so happy. I am also happy 'cause the candy was mini M&M's instead of those disgusting (I don't mean to be mean) heart-shaped candies that make you carsick, according to one of my friends. And getting even one card is pretty rare, so I feel honored. LOL.

I've got a project I need to finish, which I'll do tomorrow. You know, whenever there's this huge project, I wait till the last day to actually start. And I still somehow get A's. I amaze myself sometimes.

I just realized that February ends on the 28th, which is a Sunday. WOOHOO! I love months that end on Sundays-I think it's just cool. January ended on a Sunday, too, and February has been a pretty good month. So I guess March will be even better?

I got my report card yesterday...or was it the day before? Ah, well, personally I don't give, 'CAUSE I GOT A 4.00 GPA!!!!!! WOOOT!!!!!!!! And for all those who don't know, for my school 4.00 is the highest. I. Am. AWESOME! My parents owe me something for this.

I'm looking at my money right now. Mmm, I love the idea of money for some reason. I mean, I know it's dirty, but it's satisfying just knowing you have the money, you know? I'm not money-hungry or anything, but it's nice to know that if I really want something, normally I'd have the money for it and my parents won't give as long as I don't even look at their money and what I want is OK. By the way-who saves their money here? *raises hand*

I'm really tired, so I'll end the post here. Happy VD, Happy NYR, and Happy PRD (President's Day)!!!!!!

Untitled...for a reason. (I can't think of anything.)

It's been a while since I last posted. Welcome, February 2010~! O: I can't wait until it's the tenth of October...then I'll get to write "10/10/10" on my papers. :D I've noticed that compared to the amount of posts per month during 2009, and the amount of posts for January 2010, I can tell that I'm getting more lazy than I thought. But I'm still strong!

The past few weeks were full of rainy days, and that earthquake in Haiti...(I should've mentioned that before in my last post, LOL. Or the one before it.) But today it looked pretty good! I guess the rain is pretty much over?

My schedule today was OK in general. Some bad things happened, and some good things happened.

>Science-Nothing special happened. Project is due next Mon. I'm hoping I turn it in on time, because the way my teacher was acting up, you'd think that it'd be the end of the world if I didn't turn it in. And let's not forget the THREATS!
>Social studies-Again, nothing special happened. We have this thing every Friday in which we play our own little "Jeopardy" and we get points and at the end of each semester of the school year, we play a special "Jeopardy" with double points, and my teacher sums up all the points we earned throughout the months, and we play and get a winner and the winner gets a prize. Not a very good prize, but Jeopardy is still fun.
>P.E.-We recently started a new unit-self defense. My school just got new equipment that consists of these punching bag things. You know, those block-shaped leather-y things that has straps on the back for you to carry, and another person steps up and hits the bag while you hold it? We're learning about punches, and today we learned how to charlie-horse correctly. (Bringing the knee up for instant damage-especially to men.) It's funner than I thought it would be!
>Math-My class did a test today, and my teacher corrected it at the speed of lightning. I got one wrong because of a stupid mistake, but the bonus that I did correctly earned me back the points, so I still got 100% (11/11 or A+). That was really stupid, and I feel offended. Why didn't I catch that? Anyway, I also didn't turn in an assignment early for extra credit (it's actually due on Mon.) because I didn't finish the work, like I usually do. That also sucks. Bad things are happening in math nowadays.
>Drama-We're learning about Shakespeare. We just saw the movie "Hamlet" by him, and now we're reading "A Midsummer Night's Dream", also by him (duh). Hamlet was violent, but interesting; I only started reading AMND, so I can't say anything. But I'll say this: the language is very, very hard to understand.
>Language Arts: GOOD THING! My class did the normal schedule (wild and uncontrolled) and for the last ten minutes of class we watched the ending of "Rush Hour". I don't like "Rush Hour" but the ten minutes let me finish off the math assignment that I didn't turn in (look above ^^^). And after school, the credits played, and you know how there's always music when they played the credits. I ended up dancing because I was bored, and my friend used the camera on her phone to record me. LOL!

I'm so happy it's the weekend. I always treat weekends longer than they should be treated.

Valentine's Day is coming up! The 14th, unfortunately, is a Sunday, so the kids at school will probably be passing out chocolate and stuff on the 12th. I'm not giving anything, nor am I expecting to receive anything. But if my friends give me some stuff, I'll have two quarters ready. :)

Lunar New Year is on the 15th. I think my family and my closest aunt might be having a buffet-MIGHT-a week after or so, to celebrate. I hope we do, because I LOVE buffets, and I don't know anyone who doesn't. BUFFETS FTW!!

I guess that's all that I need to mention. I hope I actually post something a week later, instead of, like, fifty days later. Lol.

Just a Normal Post~~~

Nothing big's happening. Well, yeah, I turned in a project in social studies, got an A. Lucky me. :) Semester for school ended last Friday, apparently, and I SERIOUSLY hope I get my report card soon. I mean, I can't believe it takes three weeks to send out report cards! People don't even write it-they just use the computer! And I know that there are a lot of people, but seriously! You shouldn't even need to do anything-doesn't the computer input all the data?! That's my opinion. (Enough of my rant.)

I really don't know what to do right now. I'm sort of bored and sort of tired. I don't know which is more strong. Umm...it's been raining like crazy, huh? Hail, rain, wind, rain, rain, and more rain. For P.E. today, we had indoor activities. I didn't join, but the game looked so much fun. I really should've joined! >.-

I'm thinking, if I had a wish, it would be to have a really good memory. Right now, on a scale of ten, with one being the worst, I think my memory would rank -10. I think of things and two seconds later, I totally forget them, and it takes me a while to remember them again. So if I had a better memory, my life would be totally REVOLUTIONIZED!!

I got the issue fixed with the library books recently. Actually, all I did is turn them in yesterday. Today I went to the library to check out another book, and the person at the desk checked it out, glanced at the screen, and said nothing. Usually the people behind the desks say stuff like "Your 'Title Here' book is overdue. Turn it in soon." But since the person didn't say anything, I guess I don't have any problems. Thank GOODNESS!

I'm trying to think of more to write, but I can't. Oh! This Friday we have this assembly honoring Shakespeare. I think they'll (the school) be showing "Hamlet", performed by the advanced drama class. (I'm in intermediate, so I can't perform yet. Sucks.) Anyway, I never saw "Hamlet" before, so I have no idea what the storyline is. So I sort of look forward to the assembly. :)

I guess that's all I have to say right now. My life is so unexciting nowadays...but I guess that's good, in some cases.

Buh-Bye, winter break *cries*

Okay, so a week of school passed, and nothing seemed different. ...that's the problem. I mean, there's so much homework-even more than usual-and I just don't get it! Don't teachers understand that people's minds can drift away right after winter break? I've got so many essays, three projects, two book reports, and some really huge assignments were turned in somewhere on last Wednesday. I'm so happy it's the weekend now~

Well, a lot of people in school were going around saying "Happy New Year" to everybody last Monday. That's not too much of a surprise, but they were saying it to EVERYONE. Even people they didn't know. I didn't do that, but thinking back on it now, I wish I did. x(

I have a bunch of school library books overdue, but the weird thing is that as far as I know, they're supposed to be due on Jan. 19th. Today I confirmed it with the librarian that they were overdue, but when I checked one of my library books and saw the stamp with the date (you know, how they stamp it with the date when it'll be due?), it said that it was due on Jan. 19th. So I feel sort of cheated.

Looking at my calendar, I see that my next weekend after this will be three days long. YES!!! MLK JR's day is on Monday the 18th. And on Friday the 29th, there's a teachers-thing going on at school, so that's free, too. This month has a lot of days off...which is good, of course. x]

I guess that's all I have to talk about now. Looking forward to my next three-day weekend! :)

Happy New Year!!

WOOHOO!! 2010!!!! Now, on my homework, instead of "12/10/09", I'll haveta put "1/1/10"!! It's the first time I put a year that doesn't have a zero on my homework! Woo hoo! Happy New Year, all!

Winter break was super fun! The swine flu vaccine wasn't that bad at all, even though we spent at least 3 hours waiting and doing all the procedures and stuff. And I got on the news! ^^ I had a party with some of my best friends the day after, anyways. I got hand warmers (I REALLY WANTED THEM) and candy (THE COOLEST THING TO HAVE) during our "Secret Santa" event! And I got really expensive, cool, cute Christmas presents. This is the coolest Chirstmas EVER!

On the 26th of Dec, I had that traditional family Christmas party. I got presents, but not as good as the ones my parents gave me the day before (that was Christmas day). It was pretty average. The kids (my cousins and me) ate pizza-cheese, sausage, and whatever. Pretty fun!

On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, I spent some time out with my badminton friends. Tuesday was an eating-together day, Wednesday was a 4-hour badminton playing day, and Thursday was a New Year's Party at my badminton friend's house. It started at, like, 5 PM, and I stayed all the way until 1 AM. AMAZING! I learned how to play mahjong (a little bit, anyways. I get the idea, at least). I played this game called "What do you think?" with my friend. We take turns saying random things-things that pop into our minds after the person before you said something. We played that while bouncing this huge exercising ball back and forth. We ate dinner-mashed potatoes, sushi, salad, and vegetable stew-and dessert-apple pie and coffee cake. After we ate the coffee cake, we played UNO with my badminton friend's family friend, my badminton friend's older sister, and my older brother, who came along. They are all in high school, so they made the game ten times more hilarious. I ended up winning first :]

The rest of winter break will probably be a relaxing, homework-doing day. I look forward to seeing my friends again!

Happy New Year, and Merry Christmas~
