A Totally Useless Title

Just thought I should post here once in a while...haha...because I'm really, really bored right now. I got my report card somewhere last week-it was for the end of the semester. (4.00 GPA-someone should give me an applause.) Apparently all the students in my school who got this particular golden GPA is going to get their picture taken during a certain period, based on their grades. I think it's on the 23rd of February? Dunno, and duncare, cause I still feel important. (Just kidding.) Speaking of report cards, the 6-week report cycle ends on the 26th of February. Very close. I'll have to start watching my grades. -.-

The huge social studies project is over, and I got an A. *hums in happiness* Seriously, considering all the worse grades around me, I was sure I was going to get something like a B. So I'm very, VERY proud.

In P.E., lately we've been spending the days indoors. We're learning about health itself now, and we're going to take one of those open book tests on it on the 23rd. In science, another test'll be coming up somewhere on Wednesday the 24th (crud). In social studies, I turned in my notebook last Thursday (18th), and I hope I'll get it back soon. The notebook's like, what, 50% of your grade? In math, nothing special's happening. In drama class, we're starting to do plays about scenes from Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". We just finished reading it, and it was pretty good-but now we have to do our plays in SHAKESPEARE LANGUAGE! You know, the "none thy hand haveth o'er life" stuff. (I don't even know if that statement is right, in old English terms.) We'll be getting our scripts tomorrow. I can SO wait. In language arts, there's this annoying project due on Wednesday, and a whole bunch of assignments due tomorrow. That sucks.

I've been taking up shuffling cards. Since I'm so stupid, I don't even know how to do the shuffling style where you split the cards into two piles and splat them against each other. You know? The "phhhfffttppp" one. So I'm learning how from my brother, who apparently knows how to do that style and, like, twenty more. I'm serious. I can't believe those styles even exist. He knows how to split the cards into 10 piles, twirl the piles around at once and somehow gather them into his palm, all nice and shuffled. Don't ask me how-I don't even understand the concept. And the two pile shuffling style is hard enough. (Hey, that rhymes!)

Well, it's been sunny the past week, but I think that this morning it rained a bit. Is the sunny time over already? Geez...I miss it. I like eating outdoors instead of being trapped in a classroom when it rains.

I guess that's all to talk about now. I don't know what else to say, but I'm really happy that I made this blog. Now whenever I'm bored, I know where to turn to. :)

Valentine's Day+New Year

I know this post is really late, but I've just gotta post something. I mean, it's Valentine's Day (V-day) and New Year's Day (NY. Wait, no, that sounds like New York. NYR?). It doesn't come every day.

Yesterday I went to my grandmother's house to eat the annual "OHMIGODIT'SCHINESENEWYEARSOLET'SHAVEAFAMILYFEASTTHATMIGHTASWELLBEABUFFET!!!!" It was sooo yummy. My family's Chinese so we celebrate NYR with my favorite Chinese foods. No pizza or chips or anything, but it'd be cool if there were. And I got my NYR envelopes from my grandma and my aunts (no uncles, really amazing). And today I just received two envelopes from my parents. WOOHOO!!

On the 12th I got a bunch of chocolate and stuff from my friends. I gave out like thirty V-day cards (even though they were store-bought, I still had to write the names and stuff. I even wrote a few comments to make the boring cards interesting for once. I'm nice like that). And my school has this system-you can buy these V-day grams/cards for 25cents each and the school delivers it to the addressed person on the 12th during 7th period. The school also attaches candy to the cards as a little bonus. I actually got two cards from two of my closest friends, and I am so happy. I am also happy 'cause the candy was mini M&M's instead of those disgusting (I don't mean to be mean) heart-shaped candies that make you carsick, according to one of my friends. And getting even one card is pretty rare, so I feel honored. LOL.

I've got a project I need to finish, which I'll do tomorrow. You know, whenever there's this huge project, I wait till the last day to actually start. And I still somehow get A's. I amaze myself sometimes.

I just realized that February ends on the 28th, which is a Sunday. WOOHOO! I love months that end on Sundays-I think it's just cool. January ended on a Sunday, too, and February has been a pretty good month. So I guess March will be even better?

I got my report card yesterday...or was it the day before? Ah, well, personally I don't give, 'CAUSE I GOT A 4.00 GPA!!!!!! WOOOT!!!!!!!! And for all those who don't know, for my school 4.00 is the highest. I. Am. AWESOME! My parents owe me something for this.

I'm looking at my money right now. Mmm, I love the idea of money for some reason. I mean, I know it's dirty, but it's satisfying just knowing you have the money, you know? I'm not money-hungry or anything, but it's nice to know that if I really want something, normally I'd have the money for it and my parents won't give as long as I don't even look at their money and what I want is OK. By the way-who saves their money here? *raises hand*

I'm really tired, so I'll end the post here. Happy VD, Happy NYR, and Happy PRD (President's Day)!!!!!!

Untitled...for a reason. (I can't think of anything.)

It's been a while since I last posted. Welcome, February 2010~! O: I can't wait until it's the tenth of October...then I'll get to write "10/10/10" on my papers. :D I've noticed that compared to the amount of posts per month during 2009, and the amount of posts for January 2010, I can tell that I'm getting more lazy than I thought. But I'm still strong!

The past few weeks were full of rainy days, and that earthquake in Haiti...(I should've mentioned that before in my last post, LOL. Or the one before it.) But today it looked pretty good! I guess the rain is pretty much over?

My schedule today was OK in general. Some bad things happened, and some good things happened.

>Science-Nothing special happened. Project is due next Mon. I'm hoping I turn it in on time, because the way my teacher was acting up, you'd think that it'd be the end of the world if I didn't turn it in. And let's not forget the THREATS!
>Social studies-Again, nothing special happened. We have this thing every Friday in which we play our own little "Jeopardy" and we get points and at the end of each semester of the school year, we play a special "Jeopardy" with double points, and my teacher sums up all the points we earned throughout the months, and we play and get a winner and the winner gets a prize. Not a very good prize, but Jeopardy is still fun.
>P.E.-We recently started a new unit-self defense. My school just got new equipment that consists of these punching bag things. You know, those block-shaped leather-y things that has straps on the back for you to carry, and another person steps up and hits the bag while you hold it? We're learning about punches, and today we learned how to charlie-horse correctly. (Bringing the knee up for instant damage-especially to men.) It's funner than I thought it would be!
>Math-My class did a test today, and my teacher corrected it at the speed of lightning. I got one wrong because of a stupid mistake, but the bonus that I did correctly earned me back the points, so I still got 100% (11/11 or A+). That was really stupid, and I feel offended. Why didn't I catch that? Anyway, I also didn't turn in an assignment early for extra credit (it's actually due on Mon.) because I didn't finish the work, like I usually do. That also sucks. Bad things are happening in math nowadays.
>Drama-We're learning about Shakespeare. We just saw the movie "Hamlet" by him, and now we're reading "A Midsummer Night's Dream", also by him (duh). Hamlet was violent, but interesting; I only started reading AMND, so I can't say anything. But I'll say this: the language is very, very hard to understand.
>Language Arts: GOOD THING! My class did the normal schedule (wild and uncontrolled) and for the last ten minutes of class we watched the ending of "Rush Hour". I don't like "Rush Hour" but the ten minutes let me finish off the math assignment that I didn't turn in (look above ^^^). And after school, the credits played, and you know how there's always music when they played the credits. I ended up dancing because I was bored, and my friend used the camera on her phone to record me. LOL!

I'm so happy it's the weekend. I always treat weekends longer than they should be treated.

Valentine's Day is coming up! The 14th, unfortunately, is a Sunday, so the kids at school will probably be passing out chocolate and stuff on the 12th. I'm not giving anything, nor am I expecting to receive anything. But if my friends give me some stuff, I'll have two quarters ready. :)

Lunar New Year is on the 15th. I think my family and my closest aunt might be having a buffet-MIGHT-a week after or so, to celebrate. I hope we do, because I LOVE buffets, and I don't know anyone who doesn't. BUFFETS FTW!!

I guess that's all that I need to mention. I hope I actually post something a week later, instead of, like, fifty days later. Lol.
