can't think of a title :(

Well, it's conference week, which means every day of this week is minimum day. Now normally I would throw out confetti and shout "hooray", but to me, for two days of the week, minimum day is USELESS. that's because i'm in drama, and we're having a play-5 Japanese Ghost Stories. You can see it if you want-$3 per person, $10 per family. 7:00 PM at A.P. Giannini Middle School in SF. It'll be so coolios. Anyway, we have to have after school rehearsals RIGHT after school ends for tomorrow and the day after. (wonder if that sentence made sense?) and i'm so tired, and i'm sooooo lazy, but I'll do my best to make a post. sorry about the spelling; i'm just EXHAUSTED.

well, for my 2nd-3rd periods in school today, my teachers were absent, and there were subs. that's the biggest proof that it's flu season day. NOT H1N1, but might be. dunno. there was no info.

umm...well, since school ended an hour early, i left the building and went to the spot where my mom always picks me up (through car). But then i realized-oh snap, my mom didn't know it was conference week! i forgot to remind her! i considered going into the building, but it was already closed down to outsiders (it was 2:50 then; class ends at 2:25). i considered walking home, but it was too dangerous. I ended up staying and waiting for a few minutes, doing some h/w, and finally giving up and wandering over to Polly Ann's across the block. All the customers were gone, and it was 3:07. I bought a sprite (i was both hungry and thirsty, so i figured soda would do me good) and a box of appleheads (i love appleheads!!!) and wandered off back. then in front of APG, not too far from my mom's and my meeting place, i found my friend Chelsea just sitting there, waiting. I went over and said hi, and she said hi, and we starting talking about goodness knows what. finally, i realized she had a cell (it was around 3:20). i asked whether i could use it and she said yes, so i used it to call my mom. when she said "OH i'm so sorry, i'll be there" i could barely hold back my frustration, even though i feel ashamed of it now. so i just hung up after saying bye, then gave the cell back to chelsea. and then i began to curse. (in a good way. i censored my words :3) later my mom drove over and picked me up, and as for apologies, she drove me over to Baskin Robbins and i got my faaavorite treat-a Reese's medium 31 below. it's so awesome; i love it <33333!!!1

i guess that's what happened today. im sooo tired; i feel like collapsing. thanks for reading. night :)

Late Post!

Being on at 11:34 PM is not something to be proud of...whew...*sweat drops*

Well, I'm gonna log soon, but something awesome really happened today...

Usually on weekends I sack myself in front of my computer. But lately my computer has been having problems, and after many days and trials, my dad fixed it. Yay! *confetti* (It used to crash every ten minutes but now it doesn't <3 ) So as a celebration, at around 6:30 we went out to Moonstar buffet in Daly City. (It was a quick decision; my dad announced it five minutes before I dressed. It was a biiig surprise)

So then we arrived at Moonstar at around 7:09 PM, but there were huuge crowds of people there! What was there, a reunion? (No offense meant; reunions are awesome.) So my family and I ended up waiting 45 MINUTES. That's crazy, guys!! We finally got to eat at 8, and hopefully we all know that Moonstar stops serving food at 8:30.

Before we got to our table, the receptionist had to stuff four blue tickets into the black check pad thingamajiggy. Now I had no idea what those were. I guessed that it was a certificate for leaving the restaurant, to prove you were there for a reason. My dad guessed that it was a coupon. As if! All it had was six random numbers on it. Each ticket had a different number. Our tickets ranged from 066500 to 066504. We figured it was nothing, and ignored it.

So at 8:30 or so there is an announcement. "Raffle is gonna start soon!" And then we realized the blue tickets were meant for a raffle. Who cared, though? We NEVER win raffles. We're not a lottery-gambling family, I'm happy to say. So we just continued eating while the announcer called out random numbers. "066207." "066389." And then..."066502."

WAIT A SECOND. My brother and I were the only ones at the table with the tickets, and as my brother was playing his DS, I took charge and glanced at the tickets on my table. 066500....066501...066...502!!!

Well that got me going. I shook my brother hard and stuffed the ticket into his face. "We won! We actually won! Where's mom? Where's dad?" He put down his DS (credit to him, the gamer) and grabbed the ticket. In the distance, I could see my dad coming up. He had a big smile on his face, but before I could tell him "WE WON" he said, "I know! I know!" How's that for a memory?

So my dad and I zoomed over to the front desk with the ticket. Once we got there, we just stood, unsure what to do. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around. There was a lady dressed pretty neatly next to a crate full of bags of candy. "Did you win?" I nodded and handed the ticket over. She examined it, ripped it, put it down, and gave me one of the bags of candy. "Congratulations!"

Well, that got me going. It was my first winning raffle. Back at home, my brother and I split the candy. I got lollipops, bubblegum, M&M's, Hershey's Milk Chocolate, and more. I stuffed it all in a reaally cool metal plaid-ish box my friend gave me for my b-day. That was my Box of Sweets (BOS for short). And now, when I open it and look at it and see all the lollipops, Jolly Ranchers (I added those in; I had them for another b-day present), Butterfingers, well, I just felt happy inside. That event made my day!! THANK YOU MOONSTAR BUFFET!

What Just Happened?

Okay, so, my school day went regularly today. I mean, everything was normal. I've got some homework on the weekends, blah, etc., etc...

After my last period I was helping my teacher out. She's a new teacher and is really a mess, so I usually tidy up the room before going out. My mom expects me late.

Well, a female janitor came in to empty the recycle bin and she remarks, "I wish someone would help me too." And I don't know why, but I said, "I have time" because I did. So I ended up helping her carry some recycle bins, taking the school elevator (first time in my life O.o) and sorting out the stuff that should go into the trash can that were in the recycle bin, etc., etc. And then here's the amazing part.

I speak a tiiinny bit of Mandarin, and some more of Cantonese. The janitor and I went outside at one point, and we saw an old Chinese man in dirty clothes rummaging through a compost bin. The janitor told me she always gave him some food since he was always looking for it, so she and I went out to give it to him. Well, he just waved his hand in a "hi" gesture over and over. Apparently he didn't speak English. I tried Cantonese. "Do you want this?" and pointed to a milk carton in my hand. He just waved, so I tried something else: Mandarin. "Do you want this?" (That's one of the only phrases I know." He immediately started off on a chatter in Mandarin about blah, blah, I can't understand. He pointed to the sky, and I realized he must be taking food for the birds. He also said something about "cows" and I think that was related to milk. So I just nodded politely and smiled, and I said "Good bye" and went back in with the janitor. Shortly after I ran to my locker and all the way back to my mom, who was patiently waiting.

Now here's how I feel. I feel sort of proud about the incident with the man. At the same time, I'm worried. I mean, what if the janitor asks me to do it again? Today was only an exception. I really made my mom wait (30 minutes-wow) and to be honest, I would rather not do it. I don't feel ill of anyone, but I don't want to go through that again, if you get my drift. Good thing it's the weekend.

I'm a Newbie~

Um, I'm a newbie at this. Just created a blog less than 10 minutes ago...so, yeah. If you have any advice, gimme! :3

Well, today I had school (duh). Um...I guess it was OK. My classes were pretty average, yeah, yeah. I guess I'll put a little timeline:

>SCIENCE-Pretty good. Finished some stuff. Got a 100% grade on an assignment
>SOCIAL STUDIES-Normal, as usual. Didn't really learn much today, but it was interesting.
>MATH-Pretty good, which is normal. Math is my best subject :P
>LANGUAGE ARTS-We had a substitute today. I forgot his name (sorry, sub) but he was nice. The whole class sorta slacked off, though. We did the classic DO NOW and the rest of the time was ours. I spent the time drawing on binder paper with my table mates, who are reaaaaallllllyyyyyyyy nice :)
>P.E.-On the bad side, but only slightly. We did frisbees today (the hard ones). I got slammed on the knee and my head was nearly knocked off by three frisbees. Not a very happy thing, but luckily I didn't get hurt too badly. Afterwards, someone lost a frisbee and my teacher kept us in a few minutes lecturing us. Luckily I dressed into my clothes at the speed of light and I wasn't late for my next period.
>ELECTIVE (DRAMA)-I'm going to refer to my elective as "Drama" now. Um...a play is coming up next Thurs-Fri, and I'm looking forward to it. I'm pretty confident my class'll do fine. Today we just went through our scene again; got most of it before the bell rang.

What else was there? Oh yeah. Today was Minimum Day, which means the whole school got out an hour early. And next week is conference week, which also means I'm busting out an hour early. Intriguing...I guess there's gonna be a lot to do.

Since I want to put everything in one post, I'm going to ramble off about a few things about myself.

I'm not exactly the quiet type. Yeah, now that I think about it, I'm sorta loud. I'm friendly to the shy ones and the friendly ones, and I'm mean to the mean ones. It's that simple. You bite, I bite back. You speak, I speak back. Aj see, Aj do.

Um, speaking of "Aj", that's going to be my nickname on this blog. (So call me that.) I don't know why I chose "Aj", but it sounds short, sweet, and it's easy to remember, which is a must for me, the one-who-forgets-everything-she-experiences. I'm also lazy, and I love to sleep, but I still get good grades. I'm a strict A student and I really care about my report card. But I'm sort of easygoing, I guess. I mean, if someone asks for help, I usually help them. And if they say something like "Oh that's sorta dumb, why do you care about good grades?" I'll just say "Dunno." I guess I'm not sensitive.

Umm, I love to type and write stories on Microsoft Word. This is my first blog online, and I'm really unexperienced. Oh, great. I just repeated what I said in the first paragraph. UGH. *slaps self in face* Don't I have anything else to say?

I guess this is it. My next posts shouldn't be too long. I'll probably ramble about my day, and put what I dreamed, etc., etc. But hey. A post is a post, right?

Peace.
